HOW TO MEASURE YOUR DOOR SIZE
Our door sizes are measured from outside of jamb to the outside of the jamb. For example, a 36” x 96” door listed on our website means that 36” is the width from outside to outside of jamb (not the actual width size of the door) and 96” is the height from outside of jamb to bottom of our built in steel threshold (not the actual height of the door).
Experience the enduring strength and convenience of our Iron Doors, ingeniously crafted with a multipoint Roller Catch System. This innovative system allows for seamless adjustment, effortlessly supporting the substantial weight of your iron door.
Rotate both Adjustment Screws approximately half a turn.
Clockwise to tighten the closure.
Counter-clockwise to loosen the closure.
What is Thermal Break?
A thermal barrier that is highly resistant to thermal conductivity. This significantly lowers the U-value and reduces HVAC costs in areas with hot or cold weather. A thermal break is used to reduce the flow of heat and cold through the jamb and the whole unit.
To further explain how this thermal break technology works, well first explain why doors and/or other home materials without thermal breaks are not optimal to maintaining temperatures in a home. There are inefficient things within your home called "thermal bridges" that are more conductive (or poorly insulating) material. Materials like wood, metal, and concrete allow an easy pathway for cold or heat flow across a barrier. This results in conducting far more cold or heat than the insulation on either side of them.
Simply put, a thermal break creates a barrier between the inside and outside of your doors, preventing conductive thermal energy loss. Thermal break technology extends throughout the metal, protecting the inside of the door from the temperatures outside. It is because the inside and outside surfaces of the door or window are thermally separated that results in an exceptional improvement in insulation.
